Ashlee Karras began her dance journey at the age of four, dedicating herself to the discipline and artistry of Scottish highland dancing. For 14 years, she competed earning a “Premier” status which is the highest level possible. She continued mastering the intricate footwork and precision required in this unique traditional style as her passion for dance continued to evolve. After a short break from an injury during college she discovered country swing and line dancing, which sparked a new excitement and sense of community. Driven to pursue these styles further, Ashlee moved to Arizona in May 2023, where she is now fully immersed in the vibrant country dance scene, refining her skills and sharing her love for dance with others.
Brian Kimminau
Brian Kimminau, raised in Orange County, California, has built a life marked by dedication and service. After serving in the United States Army, he transitioned into a successful career in accounting. Along the way, he discovered a love for dance—a hobby that quickly transformed into a true passion. Brian’s enthusiasm for dance soon grew beyond personal enjoyment, and he found immense fulfillment in sharing this joy with others as an instructor. With a teaching style that combines warmth, precision, and encouragement, Brian inspires students to embrace dance as a rewarding and expressive pursuit.
